Akins' Guidance and Counseling Department

Our counseling staff are essential members of the Academy Leadership Triads, and as such, they help our academies keep track of every student to ensure that all our Akins' Eagles are getting the academic, career, and social support they need to be successful in high school, and to be prepared for college and career.

 

The Akins' school counselors follow the American School Counseling Associations's (ASCA) ethical standards for school counselors in order to provide equitable access and success in all educational opportunities.
